Multimodaler Multiplate-Reader “Tecan Spark”

The approval of the device allows top-level research in the fields of translational biomedicine, gene therapy and regenerative medicine (including clinical collaborations). The project will significantly strengthen the existing research focus on the development of new gene and RNA-based therapeutics, mechanisms of tumor progression, metastasis and chemotherapy resistance, functional genomics, therapeutic tumor stem cell targeting, development of customized / patient-specific adeno- and lentiviral vectors for cancer and stem cell-programming, CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technologies, mouse metastasis models.
